One song, two hours. One to one performance of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', holding hand and eye contact throughout, in a night club setting. With Lea Cummings and Sarah Glass.

Buzzcut Festival - Glasgow 

 

First action collaboration between FK and Thomas John Bacon. Each Artist drags the other through a corridor of fire using rope held in the mouth. Sound By Kylie Minoise.

Dark Behaviour Curated by Aaron Wright as part of Behaviour Festival (last club night of the Arches before its closure)

Confrontational love in, the night after the general election, making crystal clear the dawn of the UK as a fascist state. Projected images of Auchwitz and industrial disco. 

 

Month of Performance Art Berlin - May 15

 

4 artists from Glasgow collaborating with 4 artists from Berlin in a cultural exchange.

 

For this FK Alexander created 3 performances during the 10 day residency.

 

Self portaits 3 and 4: Face binding with fruit and bandages & TV Fire - repetitive lifting and carrying of television sets, and spitting on fire.

Second instalment in a four part collaborative series between FK Alexander and Thomas John Bacon. In near black out, a long, double ended leather choke collar is worn by both, who stand on a sloped surface, choking the other for approx 20 minute of restricted and claustrophobic endurance.
