TRANSFORM FESTIVAL LEEDS
As the festival draws to a close, Transform and Live Art Bistro invite you to delve into the world of Eurotopia, an audiovisual spectacle. Immerse yourself in the fetishised freedoms of dark excesses, and party across the satirical edges of the old world. This is the island we have staked our flag in, and now we must live it. One nation divided in the groove.
LIVE IN LIFE INSTALLATION
I CANNOT COPE WITH THE FUTURE
VENEER GALLERY - FINNIESTON
Using repetitive action, meditation, collage, coal, noise, strobe and the gallery itself, FK Alexander will remain in the small area of Finnieston's Veneer Gallery for a period of 7 days, sleeping, eating and working in a reduced way to explore methods of survival, endurance, pointlessness and control in a time of instability and fear.
(I COULD GO ON SINGING) OVER THE RAINBOW
THE SPIRE - BRIGHTON
Stand hand-in-hand with Glasgow-based performance artist FK Alexander and witness others do the same.
With live accompaniment from noise band Okishima Island Tourist Association, she sings along to the final recording made by Judy Garland of Over the Rainbow, just four months before her death.
